ABOUT BEN
Having lived from the age of 12 in the nearby suburb of Aledo, Ben never pictured himself coming to TCU. However, once he took a tour of campus he fell in love and with a little more prodding enrolled in the Class of 2018. Since Freshman Year, Ben has been involved in Student Government, serving his freshman year as House Representative, sophomore year as Chair of the Dining Committee, and this past junior year as the Speaker of the House. In his time he has cosponsored or written several pieces of legislation, and done his best to affect change on TCUs campus. After living in Milton his freshman year, Ben served as a Chapter Resident Assistant and then a Resident Assistant in Hays Hall. He remained active in his fraternity, as a member of both the recruitment and member education teams, serving his junior year as New Member Educator.
Ben's favorite sandwich is toasted peanut butter, Nutella, and banana. After graduation he plans to move to Washington D.C. to pursue a career in a Legislative office. This summer he will live in D.C. working an internship with TCUs lobbying firm and taking care of two cats to help pay his rent. If you see him on campus, introduce yourself; there is nothing he enjoys more than meeting new people, and honestly believes that one can learn something new from every persons story.
